We are not a law firm, an accountancy practice, or an engineering company. Lukas, who runs Helco Consulting, is not a lawyer in any jurisdiction. He is a project manager and fixer — the person who sits between you and the Greek bureaucracy so you do not have to.

Here is how it works:

  • We listen to what you need.

  • We engage the right Greek professionals — lawyers, accountants, civil engineers, notaries, and surveyors — from our trusted network.

  • We coordinate their work, chase deadlines, and translate everything into plain English.

  • You get one point of contact and a clear picture of where things stand.

The specialists handle the technical work. We make sure everything happens in the right order, at the right pace, and with you understanding every step along the way.

The Greek professionals we work with are excellent at what they do, and many prefer to stay behind the scenes — focused on their craft rather than maintaining public profiles. That is their choice, and we respect it.

We can share their credentials, registrations, and areas of expertise with you directly once we understand what your case requires. You will always know who is working on your behalf and why they were chosen.

About Us

Owner and Lead Consultant

Lukas Theodorou

Lukas has lived in Greece since 2020 and is based in Athens. Before founding Helco Consulting, he worked for the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs on two diplomatic missions. That experience taught him how Greek institutions function from the inside — who to speak to, how to frame a request, and how to move paperwork through channels that can seem impenetrable from the outside.

Lukas speaks fluent English and Greek, allowing him to bridge the gap between international clients and Greek institutions with clarity and confidence.

He is not here to give legal advice or certify documents. He is here to keep your project moving, to ask the awkward questions you may not know to ask, and to make sure you never feel like you are navigating this process alone.

Helco Consulting works with clients from the UK, Australia, the US, Canada, South Africa, and anywhere else English is spoken.
